Higher Up green meets Blazy Susan pink. We’re sharing a closer look at our partnership with Blazy Susan, the Denver-based accessories brand with a distinctive visual identity and a story that started with a simple idea: better organization.
Blazy Susan began when founder Will Breakell looked at a cluttered coffee table and imagined a more practical way to arrange everyday accessories. That idea became the original Blazy Susan spinning tray—the product that gave the company its name.
The original tray remains an important part of the brand’s identity. Its rotating design and separate compartments reflect the thinking behind it: give different items their own place and make them easier to access. Today, the company’s accessory catalog also includes metal trays, storage bags, backpacks, and other organizational items.
For Higher Up, this partnership is an opportunity to introduce the people, ideas, and design choices behind a brand. A recognizable logo tells one part of the story. Understanding how a company started—and how that original idea carries through its designs—adds another.
There’s also a clear visual connection to celebrate. Higher Up has its own identity built around our signature green and gnome logo. Blazy Susan brings its recognizable pink branding. Bringing those identities together gives the partnership a distinct look while keeping each brand’s character intact.
As we share more about the relationship, our focus is on clear information: the brand’s background, the differences between its accessory designs, and the details that help people understand them.
We appreciate the Blazy Susan team and the Higher Up community for being part of this chapter. We’re pleased to give the partnership a place on our blog and share the story behind the names.
